CD Poker is one of the oldies in the business, but things are looking better than ever. The iPoker Network is in an aggressive development, with more players than any other poker network. Only PokerStars and Full Tilt have more, but they don\'t have the same amount of loose and often passive players. The PlayTech software is luxurious, with many unique features incl. a great hand history!

Fish
The level is a bit below average, with many loose-passive fish – especially at the no-limit tables. The fixed limit tables seem a bit tougher as well as the SnGs with $20+$2 buy-in or more. What mainly attracts the poor players is the casinos also using the PlayTech casino-software. The recent addition of networks TAIN and especially TribecaTables have added a significant amount of fresh fish!
Traffic
Players during peak hours:
Cash-games: up to 10.000
Tournaments: up to 55.000
Traffic is mainly concentrated around Texas Holdem up to 10/20 NL as well as FL. During peak hours there is also decent traffic at other stakes and games. Tournaments enjoy great traffic for low and medium buy-ins. Everything is moving in the right direction for iPoker at the moment!
Software
The software is very nice, with many excellent details and pleasent graphics. There’re several great features like Buddy List and searching for players, a lovely hand history with images, a nearly perfect mini-view and what might be the best Stats on the market with stats on many different things, such as how you do when playing from the blinds, how often you check-raise, reraise etc. You get to choose your own looks from 10 different characters, which could be nice if there where far more to choose from – this way it seems pretty ridiculous, since you’ll see your “own” character over and over again, and often the same character in two or three seats at your table. The software is generally very functional, fast and user-friendly. The only minus is that the time players have to react… 20 seconds can be a bit frustrating at times.
Tournaments
Tournament traffic at is boosting at the moment! You´ll find plenty of guaranteed tournaments with good overlay, and good freerolls. CD Poker hosts the $100.000 guaranteed every Sunday at 19:00 GMT (buy-in $200+20), and every Friday there´s a $50.000 guaranteed at 20:00 GMT. ($50+5). Look out for the Million Dollar Challenge - a two tables Sit and Go where the winner will come out with a sweet $200,000. The Sit and Gos have been promoted heavily at the iPoker Network, which has caused a good flow to the SnGs, especially the minor and shorthanded ones. SnGs go from $1 buy-in to $200, and come as 2, 5, 6, 8, 10 handed tables, as well as two-table-SnGs with 12 or 20 participants. Note that SnGs over $20 only come as 2, 5 and 6 handed.
Support
CD Poker offers support through email, phone or fax 24/7. Email support can take some time, so you don´t wanna wait with your inbox open for a quick reply. A live chat is very much missed for quick questions, so in general a support slightly below average despite a very helpfull staf once you get through.
Bonus
CD Poker offers a 150% first deposit bonus up to a max. of $500. For every 1200 CD Points earned, $10 of your bonus will be credited to your real money account. 15 points are rewarded for every $1 paid in tournament fee, and 2 points for every $0.50 raked at the cash tables.
